AMG Advanced Metallurgical Group N.V. Subsidiary AMG Titanium Alloys and Coatings Honored with 2016 Supplier Innovation Award from MTU Aero Engines AG

(„AMG“, EURONEXT AMSTERDAM: „AMG“) is pleased to announce that AMG Titanium Alloys and Coatings („AMG TAC“) has been awarded the 2016 MTU Aero Engines AG („MTU“) Innovation Award for outstanding performance in respect of Titanium Aluminides.

MTU’s bi-annual Supplier Day was attended by more than 100 senior-level representatives from 65 companies and 13 nations, with awards presented across five categories: Quality, Efficiency, Cooperation, Logistics and Innovation.

In presenting the award to AMG TAC, MTU stated, „MTU is proud to award a supplier who has been a reliable development partner for more than 20 years. AMG TAC (trading as GfE Metalle und Materialien GmbH), based in Nürnberg, is a leading global manufacturer of high performance metals and materials with more than one hundred years of experience and know-how in the field of material science.

AMG Advanced Metallurgical Group N.V. Awards EPC Contract to Outotec for Turnkey Delivery of Lithium Concentrate Plant in Brazil

Amsterdam, 26 October 2016 (Regulated Information) AMG Advanced Metallurgical Group N.V. („AMG“, EURONEXT AMSTERDAM: „AMG“) is pleased to announce that it has awarded an EPC contract to Outotec Oyj, Finland, for the turnkey delivery of a lithium concentrate (spodumene) beneficiation plant at the Mibra mine in Brazil.

The annual production capacity of the plant will be 90,000 tons of lithium concentrate. The spodumene plant is expected to be operational in the first half of 2018.

AMG’s recent marketing activities have reinforced the economic assumptions behind the project, including the plan for a timely expansion to an annual capacity of 140,000 tons of lithium concentrate.

The recovery of lithium-bearing minerals from existing tailings, a by-product of AMG’s tantalum operations in Brazil, is expected to result in a cost-leading production process.

AMG Advanced Metallurgical Group N.V. Acquires Remaining 49.9% Interest in Feldspar Partnership

Amsterdam, 24 August 2016 (Regulated Information) AMG Advanced Metallurgical Group N.V. („AMG“, EURONEXT AMSTERDAM: „AMG“) is pleased to announce that AMG Mineração has acquired the remaining 49.9% interest in their unincorporated feldspar partnership from Colorminas, Brazil. The partnership between AMG Mineração and Colorminas was established in 2003 with the objective of producing and commercializing feldspar from tailings generated from AMG Mineração’s tantalum operations.

„The acquisition is in line with AMG’s strategy to streamline its organizational structure and enables AMG Lithium to eventually expand production, subject to the completion of a feasibility study and management approval, from the previously announced initial annual production capacity of 90,000 tons of lithium concentrate up to 140,000 tons of lithium concentrate,“ said Mr. Fabiano Costa, President of AMG Mineração.

AMG Mineração’s Mibra mine produces 300,000 pounds of high purity tantalum oxides (Ta2O5) in concentrates annually primarily for use in capacitors for the electronics industry and produces 180,000 tons of feldspar for the local ceramics and glass industry.

Amsterdam, August 13, 2007 – AMG Advanced Metallurgical Group N.V. (EURONEXT AMSTERDAM: AMG) announced its financial results for the half year ended June 30, 2007.
HIGHLIGHTS
  • Revenue increased 18% in the first half of this year from the comparable 2006 period
  • Net income grew to $19.2 million for the six months ended June 30, 2007
  • AMG’s EBITDA grew by 45% from the first half of 2006 compared to the first half of 2007
  • The Company’s successful IPO provided $275 million in net proceeds
  • AMG’s high yield debt will be repaid on August 15, 2007
OVERVIEW
Revenues for the six months ended June 30, 2007 were $543.9 million compared to $460.9 million for the comparable period in 2006, an increase of 18%.  Revenues in the Advanced Materials division for the first six months of 2007 were $415.4 million, an increase of 10% over the comparable 2006 period.  Revenues in the Engineering Services division rose to $128.4 million, an increase of 57% over the first six months of 2006.
Net income for the half-year amounted to $19.2 million, or $1.11 per share, compared to a loss of $15 thousand in 2006.  By segments, this reflected a profit of $3.2 million in the Advanced Materials division and $16.0 million in the Engineering Services division.
For the period ending June 30, 2007, EBITDA for AMG was $56.8 million compared to $39.3 million in the first six months of 2006.  This represents an increase of 45% from year to year.  For the first six months of 2007, EBITDA for the Advanced Materials division was $29.4 million, an increase of 30% over the comparable 2006 period.  In the Engineering Services division, EBITDA for the period ending June 30, 2007 was $27.4 million, an increase of 64% from the June 30, 2006 period.
