Amsterdam, 15 November 2019 AMG Advanced Metallurgical Group N.V. (“AMG”, EURONEXT AMSTERDAM: “AMG”) has finalized the acquisition of the assets of International Specialty Alloys (“ISA”), a leading U.S. producer of titanium master alloys and other binary alloys for the aerospace market, from Kennametal, Inc. The acquisition was previously announced on October 9, 2019 and closed and became effective today.

AMG Announces Appointment of Mr. Thomas Centa as President of AMG Vanadium

Amsterdam, 12 November 2019 AMG Advanced Metallurgical Group N.V. (“AMG”, EURONEXT AMSTERDAM: “AMG”) is pleased to announce that Mr. Thomas Centa has been appointed President of AMG Vanadium. Mr. Centa has been with AMG Vanadium since May 2018, serving as Executive Vice President. Mr. Centa reports to Mr. Eric Jackson, AMG’s Chief Operating Officer.

Mr. Centa assumed this role following the retirement of Mr. Hoy E. Frakes, Jr., who served as AMG Vanadium’s President for nearly 20 years. Mr. Frakes will remain with AMG Advanced Metallurgical Group N.V. providing oversight for the company’s vanadium expansion projects in Zanesville, Ohio and the previously announced Shell & AMG Recycling B.V. joint venture.

Mr. Jackson said, “I want to thank Hoy for his leadership and commitment in making AMG Vanadium the global environmental leader in processing spent resid catalysts. We are also extremely pleased to have Tom lead the AMG Vanadium team as we expand on our global leadership position.”

Amsterdam, 17 October 2019 AMG Advanced Metallurgical Group N.V. (“AMG”, EURONEXT AMSTERDAM: “AMG”) today announced its subsidiary, AMG Vanadium, has been awarded the 2018 Environmental Stewardship Award from Marathon Petroleum Corporation (MPC) for extraordinary environmental stewardship and business performance.

The Environmental Stewardship Award recognizes significant efforts in minimizing the environmental impact or delivering ways to reduce the footprint of Marathon Petroleum’s operations.

MPC’s fourth annual Supplier Recognition Awards ceremony was held recently in San Antonio, Texas.  At the event, Marathon Petroleum recognized its top suppliers from among more than 15,000 suppliers with which it does business.

AMG Vanadium, a recycling partner of resid spent catalyst from MPC’s Galveston Bay refinery, was among a small group of suppliers to receive special recognition for extraordinary performance in the area of environmental stewardship.
